This beautiful necklace is available at Clevergirl’s shop. And clever is she EVER! Beautiful combination of oxidized silver with juicy orange! Delicious!

How can you not fall in love with these mini-cardinals from GotCrowCreations? Super cute. Birds are my all-time favorite these days, and I just started getting 2 cardinal couples at my feeder at my new house. YAY! Although the male cardinals fight to get the seed. It’s still nice to see them around.

Wednesday Nov. 28

I miss the sunshine, and the Spring season, and the little singing birds in the trees. It’s cold and dreary and rainy here in Upstate NY. No fun. I have been holding onto these charms from Earthenwood Studios for a few months. They are so cute and I love them, it was hard to come up with the perfect project to use them in. I don’t know if this is it, but this is what I came up with last night. I love the pairing of rich brass with the pale egg blues and yellows. This necklace is now available in my Etsy shop.

Monday Night Nov. 26

The upcoming Christmas holiday is making me a little crazy this year. I have vowed to buy everyone one gift ONLY however, after a sudden brainstorm, now seem to think every woman in my life needs a little piece of jewelry. I realize this now, 30 days ’til Christmas Day. Hellooooooo?!?! Is that EVEN possible? Who knows. I’ve lost my mind.
Tonight I sat down at the table and it was a complete mess. Nothing can be done ’til the table is clean and then once it was cleaned, I was tired and retired to the computer.
I am posting pics of my latest creation with my recent order from my good friend Lola! Lola hand-crafted this beautiful mini-pendant and I found these beads at Mat’s Beads in Vestal NY. I am unsure of the stone, but they are semi-precious.
I knew this piece needed a punch of color and made it with the perfect one in mind. I bought these faceted grape chalcedony briolettes from SilverMineJewelry also of Etsy.

I am in total earring mode. It all started with the craft fair. And now I CAN’T STOP.
HELP ME!

My imagination has hit a brick wall and I can’t seem to get past it. What I need to do is find a different bead shop to check out. Something with a little somethin’ different. I need to restock my bead stash. Any ideas? Lemme know!

Sunday Nov. 18

Yesterday’s craft fair was a huge success! Even with the really bad lighting in the room! It was soooo dark over our table. Most people would comment on how bad the lighting was. It was almost if they didn’t turn all the lights on, but most of the vendors were also complaining. I think that we should scope out the next venue first before committing.

Tara and I did really well even though we mostly sold to friends of ours! It was a lot of fun, I can’t wait to do it again. I hope that we can find a bigger venue next time. We are also thinking of having a little jewelry party, a little food, a little drink, a little jewelry. Might be fun!

BEFORE THE FAIR

Here is the setup before the jewelry is up. The jewelry will be installed onto the board and in the trays and on the stand in the morning. We were able to set up the table tonight due to an unexpected funeral in the morning.
I didn’t want to leave all my jewelry overnight so I thought I would set everything up except that.
The table looks nice, I think we will tweak it a bit in the morning. The board might be better off to one side so that the people can see us sitting behind the table. WISH US LUCK!
